16 Months

Weight: About 22lbs (25%)
Height: About 33" (75%)

Most of these pictures aren't particularly current. The last one was taken within the last month. The rest were taken over the last 3ish months. But they are all pictures you haven't seen before, so enjoy!

Scroll to the bottom for details about what Shane is doing now.

What Shane is Doing Now:
- He isn't into many toys, but his favorites are cars and trucks. He plays mostly with pots and pans, and mom's and dad's books (we've let him play with a few small old ones that we don't care about).
- He loves hiding (and running away), especially when he has something he isn't supposed to play with, did something wrong, or doesn't want to do what we ask (like changing the diaper). His favorite places to hide are under the kitchen table, behind the living room chair (sometimes under it), and in his closet.
- He loves to just chill on the couch with a good book. When he is downstairs with Adam he is usually on the couch in his little corner. He'll sit there for a good half hour looking at DVD cases (as if they were books). He also likes to climb into the rocking chair in his room and sit there with his books.
- He still isn't really into movies, but he loves to sit with us on the couch and watch a football game.
- He loves to help cook and do the laundry (putting clothes down the laundry shoot and putting them in the washer or dryer). Occasionally we find toys in the laundry basket from Shane throwing them down the shoot. When I am making dinner he will whine until I put him on a chair so he can see what I am doing.
- Still no words, but we are getting closer to mommy and daddy. However, he is finally starting to get the hang of sign language. He now knows how to sign milk, more and all done.
He loves shoes. It doesn't matter who they belong to. He likes to walk around with his hands inside.
- Stills loves going outside (even in winter), baths and horse-play.
- He made the switch to one nap/day.
- He is doing pretty good with the process of weaning from the pacifier. We are now down to only using it for nap time.
- Still eats just about anything (even asparagus, yuck!).
- Still smiles constantly and at just about everyone.
- LOVES other kids. He can never get enough play time with other kids.
- Laughs and giggles more everyday, which I LOVE since it took him awhile to get it going.
