On April 26, Adam had his Stake Softball Tournament. He had been playing with the ward every Thursday night and this tournament was to end the season. I got to go and watch him play and talk to all the other wives that were there. It was a lot of fun. The team won their first two games and then went to the finals. During the game there was this woman from the other team's ward that decided trash talking our team was really cool. The funny thing was that it was the worst trash talk most of us had ever heard. However, she was still pretty good at getting the women from our ward frustrated. Come on, this is STAKE SOFTBALL. We were all there to just have fun. The horrible trash talk didn't do anything to make a friendly and fun atmosphere. Oh, well. They lost the final by one or two runs. They did get the runner-up trophy, but it was kind of sad. Adam had a lot of fun though and was able to make a number of runs for the team throughout the night. He also did a pretty good slide into 3rd base that eventually got them a point. Go Adam!!
Adam plays pick-up basketball now on Wednesday nights. He is better at softball, but he is having a lot of fun!
I took some pictures, but I am out of practice. Keep in mind that even though Adam isn't in focus he was what I was trying to focus on :)
